To Joan
It is difficult to find the best words for this very special occasion for Joan. Feeling incapable to select the best words that would mirror my wonderful sentiments about her, I will just dedicate this quote of Trina Paulus (Hope for the flowers):
"How does one become a butterfly? They have to want to learn to fly so much that they are willing to give up being a caterpillar."
I choose this quote for two reasons … at least:
(i) Joan showed me how beautiful and enlightening is to start a day with a quote
(ii) Joan was always willing that everyone could become truly butterflies in their diverse colors. She tried hard to convince everyone that they could and that at the end it would be up to them/to us to wanting to give up being a caterpillar. And she was always, always there supporting all the time.
